When is the event held?
The event is hosted every two years.

Where is the event held?
The 2017 State Games of America will be hosted in Grand Rapids, MI, August 3-6,2017. The 2017 State Games of America in Grand Rapids is expected to attract 12,000 competitors. Most recently, the largest State Games of America was held in Lincoln, NE with over 15,000 total participants.
