SPORT SPECIFIC INFORMATION

 

Date: Saturday - July 31, 2010

Site: Peachtree City Track, 201 McIntosh trail, Peachtree City Ga 30269

Time: Warmup: 11am -1pm

           Start Time: 2:00 p.m.

           Approximate End Time: 5:00 p.m.

Entry Fee: $12.00/person

Divisions: You race your own age group or skill level

COMPETITION INFORMATION

Competition: Distances – BMX is sprint racing on a track about 1200 feet long. The best of 3 rounds. 

Course:
The track consists of jumps, loops, corners and rollers, tabletops and doubles

Awards:
Top 3 finishers will receive Medals, and qualify
Our NATIONAL Olympic Style Sports Festival will be held on August 2-5 in Colorado Springs, CO.  Any Georgia Games Athletes or Team that wins a Gold, Silver or Bronze Medal in the Georgia Games Championship is eligible to attend, compete and represent the State of Georgia against the rest of the country at the State Games of America (SGA).

Rules:
20" or 24" BMX bike or even your mountain bike
Full Face helmet
Long sleeve shirt
Long pants
Working brakes
Bar ends or something covering the end of the handlebars
Gloves are recommended.

PLEASE take off reflectors. pegs, kickstand or chain guard as these items 
could come loose, stick out or break causing injury to yourself or to your 
competitors.  We will have bike inspection on site to help you with this requirement.
