For 2017, we are accepting inquiries from interested parties that would like to have their sport considered for including in the Georgia State Games Championships.  Inclusion in the Georgia State Games also brings with it the possibly inclusion with of being eligible for our annual National State Games of America held every two years.
Timeline:
We like to determine which sports will be offered in the fall preceding the following summer’s championships.  So do not wait to contact the Games.
Criteria:
The Georgia State Games assesses a few critical variables when considering adding or dropping sports from its Championship Lineup:
Is there enough support in that sports’ universe to consider adding it?

• Are there enough athletes in Georgia to participate?
• Is there an individual or organization that is willing to take the lead to “run” the event?
• What are the venue parameters and costs?
