The Georgia State Games Commission is looking for talented, aggressive, outgoing and innovative interns to assist in the preparation for this year's events. Internship opportunities are offered in unpaid positions depending on intern's experience & skills, time commitment, availability, academic credit and semester sought. Internships are first offered to students completing the internship for academic credit.
Dates and times for internships are flexible. All applicants must have strong writing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Full-time internships are preferred & recommended, but part-time internships are also available.
The internship program has been offered for over 30 years. Students have come from the following US States: AK, AL, AR, CA, CT, DC, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, ME, MI, MS, MN, MO, NC, NE, ND, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI and WV and Puerto Rico including the countries of Afghanistan, Canada, China, England, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Kenya, South Africa and South Korea just for internships with the Georgia Games.
These 100% remote positions will be conducted from wherever the student resides (offered all semesters)
These positions will be mainly conducted from where the intern resides. However, for the one week of the summer term, the intern (at one's own expense) will travel and stay in Georgia to help operate our events.
